Boston, MA – 5-21-2024 – Hodges Film is proud to announce that its production Strands of Strength: A Cancer Survivor’s Transformation has been awarded the Gold Telly Award in the Social Video – Motivational & Advice category at the 46th Annual Telly Awards.

Created in partnership with Extension Arts of Boston, the video tells the powerful story of Melissa, a cancer survivor who faced the devastating effects of chemotherapy, including the loss of her hair. With the compassionate care of Regina, owner of Extension Arts, Melissa embarked on a transformative journey to reclaim her confidence and beauty through a Post-Chemo Medical Hair Install. What unfolded was more than a makeover—it was a moving testament to resilience, hope, and the strength of the human spirit.

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens, with winners selected by a judging council of industry leaders from platforms, streaming networks, production companies, and media organizations. This year’s winners include Pixar Animation Studios, Hearst Media, ESPN, LinkedIn, MTV Entertainment Studios, NASA, and Telemundo.
